November 2024:

Monday 11th: Remembrance Day
• Nelson Bay: at the War Memorial in Apex Park.
Service commences at 10.30am. Luncheon and Drinks at Nelson Bay Diggers Club for RSL sub-Branch members.
• Tanilba Bay: at the Tilligerry RSL Sports Club. Form up at 10.45am for 11am service.
• Medowie: at Medowie Social, 36a Ferodale Rd, Medowie. Assemble by 10.45am for 11am service.
• Karuah: in Memorial Park on the corner Memorial Drive and Tarean Road. 10.30am for a 10.45am start.Back to Karuah RSL Club after the service.
• Stockton: at the Rawson Park Memorial on the corner Mitchell and Hereford Streets. 10.45am start
• Raymond Terrace: at the Anzac Park Memorial. 10.30am start. Back to Raymond Terrace Bowling Club after the service, which is expected to finish 11.15am.



December 2024:

Saturday 7th: Medowie Christmas Carnival

From 4pm at Ferodale Oval, Medowie
Presented by the Rotary Club of Williamtown, the Medowie Christmas Carnival will feature a range of children’s rides, amusements and showbags; carefully curated artisan market stalls; gourmet food vendors; live music and entertainment; as well as activity involving local schools, sport/dance/community groups, local businesses, Christmas carols, Santa and much more! Saturday 7th: Tilligerry Country Carols
7pm at Tilligerry RSL Sports Club, Tanilba Bay.
Join Gina Jeffreys, Karen O'Shea, Lyn Bowtell , Max Jackson and more for Country Carols k. Entry is only a gold coin donation and seating is limited - first in best dressed, gates open 4.30pm.

Sunday 8th (To Be Confirmed): Carols At The Bay
From 5.30pm at Fly Point, Nelson Bay.
Carols At The Bay is presented by Combined Churches of Tomaree Peninsula with performances from local primary schools, performing arts students, community groups, and professional entertainment.

✨Santa from 8:00pm
✨Fireworks at 9:00pm

Sunday 8th (To Be Confirmed): Tilligerry Festival 10am - 9pm at Henderson Park, Lemon Tree Passage
There will be market stalls, live music, dancing, community displays, fireworks over the water and even Santa will be making an appearance.

Sunday 15th (To Be Confirmed): Carols Under The Stars
From 5:30pm on the lawn at Gateway Presbyterian Church, 43 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay.
Bring a picnic rug, bring chairs, and bring your household to join us for an enjoyable evening for the whole family.Various activities for kids will begin from 5:30pm, including face painting and camel rides. Fireworks at 9pm (only) at d'Albora Marinas. Live bands, entertainment.
• At Tea Gardens: Fireworks at 8.30pm at Tea Gardens Country Club. Family friendly with facepainting, clowns.
• At Tanilba Bay (To Be Confirmed): Fireworks at 9pm at Tilligerry RSL Sports Club.



January 2025:

Wednesday 1st: New Year's Day

Sunday 26th: Australia Day
• Nelson Bay:
Celebrations begin at 9am at Fly Point.

• Lemon Tree Passage: Celebrations begin at 8am with the Lions Club breakfast, followed by Welcome to Country at 8.30am, then music and entertainment until 12 noon.
• Hawks Nest: Moira Parade (Pelican) Park, commencing at 8am with the Lioness Club breakfast, followed at 9am with the Flag Raising and National Anthem, local Citizen of the Year Awards, live music, and fun children’s races.
• Karuah: Australia Day at Karuah RSL. Amateur Produce Comp & Auction, Live Music by They Call Me Bruce. Along with Fun activities: thong throwing comps, bowls, and more throughout the day. PLUS a face painter + balloon twister from 5pm-8pm. Fireworks Display at 9pm! All proceeds support our local volunteer fire brigade.

Monday 27th: Extra Australia Day Public Holiday

Friday 31st January: NSW School Resumes - Term 1 (Official)

February 2025:

Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th (To Be Confirmed): Trailerboat Sportsfishing Tournament.
Nelson Bay harbour.
Held each year with up to 1500 competitors and 500 boats competing for around $100,000 in species and lucky draw prizes.

Sunday 17th (To be Confimred): ORRCA Port Stephens Dolphin Census.
From 11am-12noon at points around the Bay.
Land and water based participants are needed to count how many of Port Stephens’ famous dolphins live in the bay’s blue waters.

September 2025:

Saturday 4th October (To be confirmed): Myall River Fair.

From 10am to 4pm along the Tea Gardens Riverfront.
With dozens of market stalls, Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Lions Club sausage sizzle , live music, surf boat races on the river, Duck Races to raise money for Tea Gardens Primary, vintage cars, fire trucks, a Dog Show, and raffles galore.
